HOW TO JOIN

This year registration for the coming season of Little Athletics can be done on either Saturday 5th September or 12th September between 9-11am at ES Marks Field (cnr Boronia St and Anzac Pde Kensington).
You will need to join on line, please see link for information on how.

This year will be SELAC‘s 22nd season. We operate on Saturday mornings from 8.30am to 11.00am at E.S. Marks Field on the corner of Anzac Parade and Boronia St KENSINGTON. The season runs from late September till early March.

If you are a previously registered Athlete you do not have to provide proof of age this year. If your age group was small last year please speak to interested friends about joining South Eastern Little Athletics Centre.

New Members (including siblings of previously registered children) must bring proof of age (Birth Certificate, Passport or similar).

Fees for the Season 2009 / 2010 are, they are the same as last year.

$80 for tots and Under 6 Athletes

1 Tot Athlete plus next athlete or athletes is:

$80 for single + 1 over 7 age athlete ($110) = $190 { family of 2}
$80 for single + 2 over 7 age athletes ($110 +$100) = $290 {family of 3}
$80 for single + 3 over 7 age athletes ($110+$100+$80) = $370 {family of 4}
$80 for single + 4 over 7 age athletes ($110+$100+$80+$80) = $450 {family of 5}
$80 for single + 5 over 7 age athletes ($110+$100+$80+$80+$80) = $530 {family of 6}

Children born between 1-10-2000 and 30-09-2001 being 6 years of age as at 30-09-2007

1 Under 7 plus next athlete or athletes is:

$110 for single + 1 over 7 age athlete ($100) = $210 {Family of 2}
$110 for single + 2 over 7 age athletes ($100+$80) = $290 {Family of 3}
$110 for single + 3 over 7 age athletes ($100+$80+$80+) = $370 {Family of 4}
$110 for single + 4 over 7 age athletes ($100+$80+$80+$80) = $450 {Family of 5}
$110 for single + 5 over 7 age athletes ($100+$80+$80+$80+$80) = $530 {Family of 6}

A compulsory uniform is also required by Under 7’s and up. This is only obtainable from SELAC and costs approximately $50 - $70 per child. Payment is by Cash or Cheque ONLY. No credit cards. Uniforms are on sale on competition days and SELAC Committee Members will be on hand to answer questions.
Help
Parents and Guardians are being asked to volunteer to assist in some of the administration necessary for running Club Competition each week. No experience is necessary and you may speak to one of the committee if you have any questions.
As you know, we need Starters, Timekeepers, Results Recorders, Age Marshalls, First Aid Officers – and Assistants in all these roles – each and every week during the Season for our Club to run efficiently. This is not the job of the SELAC Committee – it’s the job of Parents and Guardians. The active assistance of Parents and Guardians is a pre-requisite to the survival and strength of our Club. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
Trophies will be awarded at our Annual Presentation Day to all Athletes who receive tickets for competing on at least 5 Club Competition days during the Season. We are looking forward to another successful Season of Little Athletics.
